Travel Checklist

Before you leave home on your vacation we have put together a check list of items you should double check to make sure have been completed and you have in your possession.

Travel Documents

Make two copies of all documents in case of emergency or they are lost / stolen. Leave one set with a trusted friend or relative and keep the second set separate from the originals

  • Itinerary - Travel Plans

  • Airline Tickets / Cruise Boarding Pass

  • Drivers License

  • Passport

  • Foreign Visa 

  • Hotel Confirmation 

Post Office 

Request mail hold from Post Office
There is no charge to request USPS Hold Mail® service.

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling & living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

  • Will advise important information from the Embassy of safety conditions -

  • Help them contact you in an emergency from Natural Disasters to Civil Unrest

  • Connect you with family & friends in case of an emergency

​

Medication & Prescription's

Make sure to pack enough medication to cover your vacation. 

Bring extra if you are able to.

MAKE SURE TO CARRY ALL MEDICATIONS IN ORIGINAL LABELED CONTAINERS AND KEEP THEM IN YOUR CARRY ON LUGGAGE.

Financial Institution

Contact your financial institution and advise of your travel plans. Make sure to provide the dates and countries you will be traveling in. Thus will make sure your card is not frozen for unusual account activity. Also, most foreign banks and card processing terminals have switched to chip and pin technology. If you have not yet done so make sure your credit is chip and pin enabled cards

Luggage Tags

If you are flying to your Port of Call. Do Not place your cruise line luggage tags on your luggage until you are in Port.

Keep your cruise line luggage tags in your carry on luggage and
